The Isle of Anglesey family's information service is a central, confidential access point, providing free and impartial information on a wide range of quality and affordable childcare for families, as well as other children and young people's services available in Anglesey.
As well as holding information on all the registered care within our catchment area, we try to ensure that we also know about as much of the unregistered activities as possible for you too.
We do not endorse or recommend individual provisions; our purpose is to provide the relevant information about each service to assist parents and carers to meet individual needs. We aim to provide accurate, up to date, unbiased information about the care and early education of children and young people.
Please search our Families Directory - follow the weblink at the bottom of this page. It is growing daily and lists childcare organisations on Anglesey. It will soon also list all other organisations who provide a service for Anglesey's children and young people.
The service aims to provide a one stop shop for quality, accessible, impartial information and guidance to parents/ carers concerning choosing childcare for under eight year olds.
We have information on the following:
- childminders
- nurseries
- after school clubs and holiday playschemes
- playgroups
- parent and toddler groups
- training opportunities
- local support and advice groups
- local children and young people's organisations
The FIS is open to the public for telephone enquiries - Monday to Friday (01248) 725800 (an answerphone facility is also available outside of these times).
