Telephone payments service

A new telephone payment service has been introduced for customers. The system will accept payments for a variety of services including Council Tax, Business Rates, Sundry Debtors, Housing Rents, Housing Benefit Overpayments, and Homecare Services.

You can connect to the service by phoning 0300 123 0800 on any touch-tone phone and you will be instructed on how to pay. Please remember to have your credit or debit card ready, along with the reference number of your account or invoice.

The service will be available 24-hour, 7-days a week. The 0300 number is charged at National Rate to all callers regardless of whether you are calling from a landline or a mobile.

Any payment(s) made after 4.00 pm, will not be be credited to your account for ( up to ) 3 working days.

Note: There are a few exceptions. The system will not accept payments for Housing Rents where the rent number has alpha numeric characters.
