Anglesey libraries provide plenty of books and information resources for children of all ages and abilities.
A large choice of story books is available in Welsh and English as well as talking books on tape and CD, music tapes, DVDs and videos. Information books are available for enjoyment and also to help with homework. For children who find it difficult to read ordinary print, we have a selection of large print books.
All our libraries have a collection of books suitable for young people over 14. Our larger libraries also have specialist magazines, GCSE and A-level books to help with studying.
Internet access is available for free on our 'People's Network' computers at all libraries in Anglesey. Parental / guardian supervision is required for children under 13. Written parental / guardian permission is required for children aged 13-16. Information resources such as Encyclopaedia Britannica - Students Edition for young people and Encyclopaedia Britannica - Junior Edition for youinger children are also available online - just ask for a PIN number at your local branch. For further information, please follow the link below to the online information resources page.
Our information service can help find answers to difficult questions and also has lots of information about courses, colleges/universities and careers.
