Youngsters enjoyed a fun packed week of outdoor activities during the October half term.
Organised by Isle of Anglesey council’s sports development unit’s outdoor activity development officer, children enjoyed activities such as mountain biking skills and kayaking.
The free activities were arranged in conjunction with Welsh Cycling and Slash. Outdoor activity development officer Simons Jones said ‘we had a great time over the week, the kids enjoyed themselves, and made lots of new friends. Everyone was awarded with certificates for their efforts’. The sports development unit works continually to provide opportunities for youngsters to try new activities during school holidays.
