Sports Awards 2009


On 24 November 2009 at Beaumaris Leisure Centre, the council will be holding the annual sports awards.

This page contains information and a nomination form for the upcoming awards, designed to recognize and honour the talented sports people, sports clubs, coaches and volunteers on Anglesey. The awards are in recognition of Anglesey residents in the calendar year of 1 September 2008 to 31 August 2009.

The sports awards categories are:

  • girl of the year
  • boy of the year
  • junior team of the year
  • senior team of the year
  • disability sports award
  • coach of the year
  • sports person of the year
  • special contribution
  • volunteer of the year
  • young volunteer of the year

Download the form below to make a nomination. If you are nominating more than one category, please use an additional form. If you are having problems downloading the form, contact the Sports development Unit for a hard copy on 01248 752026.

Closing date for nomination forms is October 31 2009.
