Charging Policy in respect of requests for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Environmental Information Regulations 2004

The Freedom of Information Act 2000, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 collectively give members of the public a right to request information held by public authorities / bodies.

However, these enactments also allow public bodies to impose charges / fees for providing such information. Against this background, Isle of Anglesey County Council as a local authority that holds a variety of information, has adopted a Charging Policy.
